Many GROW groups are general groups and meet at community venues, such as churches or public buildings. These general groups are open to everyone.
There are also special GROW groups that meet in professionally-operated facilities, such as mental health agencies, self-help centers, hospitals, or jails. These special groups are open to clients of the facility where they meet.
GROW currently has groups in Illinois, New Jersey and Rhode Island. If you live in one of these states, contact us to find a group near you. Our contact information is below.

GROW has no fees or dues
Confidentiality and anonymity are essential to the GROW group. Group members use first names only and make a commitment not to disclose anything discussed at meetings.
GROW is not a religious organization, and people of all beliefs are welcome. In GROW we emphasize spirituality, including “horizontal spirituality”, which is based on belief in persons and connections in community. There are several brief prayers recited in GROW groups because belief in God has been important to many members over the years. However, participation in these prayers is optional.
General GROW groups are run by their members. A standard format is followed, and any capable member can lead the weekly meeting. General GROW groups also have an Organizer, who takes overall responsibility for the welfare of the group.
